Our journey started in 2014; our mission is to change how construction is done. We want to produce buildings in a controlled production environment where design is integrated with manufacturing, which in turn is integrated with assembly and onsite work. By completing up to 90% of the buildings in our factory, we take workers out of the jobsite and into our controlled environment.

We believe in keeping promises. We are obsessed with shipping products to clients on time. One can build the best products in the world, but if they are late, it doesn’t matter. We have shipped every single project, on time.

We view our company as a team fighting for the championship. To win, we need a team of extraordinary players that can pursue extremely ambitious goals. We asked ourselves: who are we and what kind of people are we looking to hire? And the answer was, people who challenge the status quo; Industry Definers. Risks must be taken.

Frugality
We are obsessed with reaching our goal of re-defining the construction industry. In order to achieve it, we must be wise with expenditures. Responsible behavior goes beyond the internal interaction of the team members; we need to be responsible with our money. We want employees to be scrappy and efficient. Even though the temptation of “paying yourself out of a situation” is high, we need to resist it. If you think someone is charging you too much money, it is because they are. Knowledge and subject matter expertise enable frugality.

Resourcefulness
Maximizing what we produce from what we are given is an important virtue. Normally, we are not working in an ideal situation; time is limited, functional requirements are demanding, choices are scarce. Making the most of what we are given is a must if we are to succeed in our journey.

Context not Control
We want employees to be exceptional independent decision makers, and to only consult their manager when they are unsure of the right decision. The leader's job at every level is to set clear context, so that others have the right information to make great decisions. We believe we are most effective and innovative when employees throughout the company make and own their decisions. We tell people not to seek to please their boss. Instead, seek to serve the business.

Transparency
A transparent team shares the wins, the shortcomings, the shocks as well as the challenges. Each employee expects to hear the truth no matter what. A bitter short term truth makes for a sweet long term success. The outside world is filled with facades and shallowness. We want employees to trust each other, communicate and openly disagree.
