WHO YOU ARE

• An experienced roof plumber with 3+ years in roofing installation and construction.
• You must be an Australian citizen to meet security clearance requirements.
• Qualified with a Certificate IV in Roof Plumbing or equivalent (highly preferred).
• Licensed with White Card, High Risk Work license (HRW), Elevating Work Platform (EWP) license, Driver’s licence, and hold a National Police Clearance.
• Competent in Working at Heights and preferably trained in First Aid.
• Possess detailed technical knowledge of roofing materials, construction standards, installation techniques, repair methods, and maintenance.
• Skilled in interpreting project plans and specifications with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with experience supervising teams and managing stakeholder interactions.
• Ability to mentor trades assistants and apprentices, promoting continuous learning and best practices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Follow plan specifications to install, maintain, and repair roofing and drainage systems according to company standards.
• Install and maintain gutters, downpipes, safety mesh, insulation, vapour barriers, roofing, cladding materials, and flashings.
• Fabricate roofing materials and shape metal sheeting and flashings as required.
• Interpret drawings and construction plans to determine materials and apply workflows.
• Work under supervision of Roofing Supervisor and Site Supervisors to plan and complete projects on time and within standards.
• Identify and escalate technical issues to supervisors promptly.
• Provide guidance and training to Apprentice Roof Plumbers and trades assistants, leading by example.
• Adhere strictly to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) requirements, including inductions, PPE, hazard reporting, and participation in toolbox meetings.
• Report incidents, injuries, safety hazards, and faulty tools to site management.
• Perform other duties within scope and experience as directed.
