About this Retail Development Project Coordinator (M/F) role at Sézane
“I’ve had the joy of building Sézane alongside you - the first French fashion brand born online, rooted in quality, creativity, and intention.
To tell the story of Sézane is to retrace more than 20 years of defining adventures and bold decisions: choosing to do things differently, choosing people, choosing to act, and above all, choosing to trust in one’s convictions - even when that means rethinking what we thought we knew.
Sézane is more than a fashion brand. It’s a story of life - mine, yours, and all those who shape it every day.” Morgane Sézalory, Founder & CEO
To continue to co-construct the next chapter and beyond, we are looking for creative, organized and agile talents, who share our passion to perpetually improve all that can be.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Retail Development Project Coordinator (M/F) to support the execution of retail store and pop-up projects across multiple markets. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited to grow within retail development, construction, and experiential brand environments.
Working closely with senior project and construction leaders, you will support store openings from concept through completion - assisting with project coordination, construction logistics, travel-based site support, vendor communication, and polished presentation materials. This is a highly collaborative role that blends operations, design coordination, travel, and on-site execution in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
Retail Development & Project Coordination
- Support the execution of retail store and pop-up projects from early planning through final opening.
- Assist with maintaining project timelines, trackers, budgets, meeting notes, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams including design, merchandising, operations, marketing, legal, and logistics to support seamless project execution.
- Organize project documentation including contracts, drawings, samples, invoices, and approvals.
- Track milestones and follow up with vendors and project partners to help keep projects on schedule.
- Serve as a key liaison between internal architecture and design teams and external consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Construction & On-Site Support
- Support retail construction, installations, and store setup during build-outs and pop-up activations.
- Travel to project sites to assist with on-site coordination, construction administration, vendor management, and consistency with design plans.
- Help coordinate contractors, millworkers, signage vendors, installers, and delivery schedules alongside senior project leadership.
- Assist in documenting construction progress, site conditions, and project updates.
- Support quality control efforts by reviewing finishes, fixtures, and installations to ensure alignment with brand standards and design intent.
Cross-Functional Communication
- Support creating polished project decks, timelines, status updates, and presentation materials for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Attend project meetings and help manage follow-ups, notes, and action items.
- Act as a support liaison between office teams, field teams, and external vendors throughout project execution.
- Assist with store opening coordination across retail, operations, events, and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, retail development, construction support, interiors, architecture, events, or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in retail development, store design, construction, and experiential brand environments.
- Familiarity with architectural floor plans, or construction documentation is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently for project support for multiple weeks at a time per project.
- On-site support for retail store buildouts and other projects throughout the project life cycle.
- Los Angeles-based with availability for in-office collaboration and project travel.
Who You Are
- A proactive and collaborative team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
- Passionate about retail, fashion, interiors, and bringing branded spaces to life.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within retail development and construction.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and calm under pressure.
- Comfortable balancing both operational coordination and hands-on field support.
- Excited by travel, fast-paced projects, and seeing projects come to life on-site.
- Bilingual (French / English) is a plus but not required.
