About this Remote Credentialing Specialist for Healthcare Company role at Pearl
Work From Anywhere in the Philippines
Work Schedule: US Timezone (Flexible) │ Overlap with US business hours for payer follow-ups
Compensation Range: $1000 - $1500 USD/month based on experience.
A fast-growing telehealth and behavioral health company providing accessible mental health care across multiple US states is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to own the end-to-end provider credentialing process and eliminate reliance on a slow, error-prone vendor.
The company is scaling rapidly, onboarding new therapist and counselor providers every week, and currently routes credentialing through an external vendor that takes up to a week to submit applications and frequently requires corrections. The team is lean and fast-moving, already collaborating with a distributed operations team across time zones.
Day to day, you'll submit and track credentialing applications across Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers, manage CAQH profiles, and follow up directly with payers to resolve issues. Success means same-day to next-day application turnaround, consistently clean first-time submissions, and a scalable tracking system that supports growth from an initial 10–30 providers to 50–100+.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 3+ years of hands-on CAQH profile management and credentialing application submission experience, fully independent without training
- Proven track record submitting credentialing applications to Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers across multiple US states
- Experience managing credentialing for 10+ providers concurrently
- Systematic tracking and follow-up discipline using tools such as Airtable, Google Sheets, Trello, or Notion
- Track record of clean, first-time application submissions with minimal payer-requested corrections
- Experience identifying and implementing workflow or process improvements within a credentialing or provider enrollment function
- B2+ English (CEFR) for phone and written follow-up with US-based payer representatives
Nice-to-Have
- Behavioral health provider credentialing experience (therapists, counselors, psychologists) across multiple states
- Credentialing experience in Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Ohio, or Virginia
- Familiarity with PECOS, provider enrollment platforms, or primary source verification processes
- Background supporting virtual therapy or telehealth platforms
- Experience building credentialing workflows or SOPs from scratch in a fast-growth environment
