Backed by a passionate team, headquartered in London and with offices in Brno, Lisbon, and remote teams worldwide, we’re expanding rapidly across multiple markets and verticals. Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes scale and grow while preserving their unique identity and spirit.
Be a part of something extraordinary, where your ideas and contributions truly matter. Let’s shape the future of travel together.
About the Role
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join the crew behind our Terminal and Kiosk applications—hardware and software used daily by venues around the globe. For this one, we need you on-site in our Brno office because you'll need regular, hands-on access to the actual physical testing devices we use to make our platform tick.
This gig is a solid mix of manual and automated testing. You’ll validate new features through exploratory and manual testing to hunt down edge cases and make sure the user experience is flawless. At the same time, you'll level up our Maestro automation coverage by turning stable, repetitive user journeys into rock-solid automated tests.
We're actually in the middle of rebuilding our Maestro automation framework and evolving our CI/CD pipelines. This means you get a real opportunity to help shape how mobile testing is done across our products. Automation is a huge part of our long-term strategy, but it won't be the only thing you do all day.
The Team you’ll be collaborating directly with developers, product managers, designers, and our QA squad to ensure every release delivers a reliable experience across Android, iOS, and our kiosk platform.
Don't sweat it—you won't be flying solo or figuring it out in the dark. You're joining a solid team of four experienced QA engineers who have your back. They’ll help you get totally familiar with our products, testing strategy, and automation framework.
Want to be part of something extraordinary where your ideas actually matter? Let’s shape the future of travel together.
What You'll Work On
Unlike traditional web QA roles, you'll work with applications running on real devices used by attractions across the globe.
Our platform includes:
- Terminal – A Flutter application running on Android and iOS, used for ticket sales and validation.
- Kiosk – A self-service application built with Kotlin Multiplatform, allowing visitors to purchase and manage tickets independently.
You'll also get hands-on experience with:
- Mobile phones and tablets
- Self-service kiosks
- Ticket scanners, printers, and payment devices
- End-to-end customer journeys across multiple devices
- Real-world scenarios combining both software and hardware
Every feature you test directly impacts the daily operations of attractions and the experience of thousands of visitors around the world.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory and manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and hardware integrations.
- Expand and maintain our Maestro automation framework by automating stable and repetitive user journeys.
- Review and update automated tests based on new features, bug reports, and production issues.
- Validate releases across Android, iOS, and physical devices.
- Collaborate closely with developers to investigate issues and improve product quality.
- Think critically about product behaviour, identify inconsistencies, and suggest improvements.
- Contribute to improving our testing strategy, automation, and overall quality culture.
At Ventrata, quality goes beyond finding bugs. Since you'll be one of the final people validating features before they reach production, we value curiosity, product thinking, and a willingness to ask questions. If something doesn't feel right, we want you to challenge it. Every improvement you make helps create a smoother experience for both venue staff and the thousands of visitors who use our products every day.
