About this Provider Network & Wraparound Funding Specialist role at Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc
This is one position split between 2 departments:
The Provider Network Specialist provides support to complete activities associated with credentialing of providers under several contracts and collection of quality of service information for service provider network.
The Wraparound Funding Specialist is responsible for processing and monitoring fund requests, under the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Wraparound funding contracts as well as the Judicial Branch’s Wrap funding contract.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· application processing ensuring that the paperwork is complete, accurate and in compliance with standards
· maintain files, provide technical assistance to providers;
· orientation and education of providers to credentialing policies and procedures, collection of quality of service information, and provider relations.
· performs other related projects and duties as assigned in support of department goals and objectives including, but not limited to site visits
- Process and monitor fund requests, ensuring that the Request for Funds documentation is complete, accurate and in compliance with DCF and CSSD standards and ABH process guidelines;
- Maintain an updated list of authorized signatories by fund including all relevant contact information;
- Provide technical assistance to requestors and service vendors incorporating relevant policies and procedures;
- Act as liaison between DCF and service vendors for issues related to fiduciary services requests;
- Identify necessary changes and initiates/assists in the development/revision to functioning systems within the appropriate internal and external departments;
- Maintains confidentiality of all client protected health information and adheres to all HIPAA related policies and procedures;
- Performs other tasks/responsibilities as required to support the business operations;
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in all activities involving individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s degree in business administration, human services or related field or a combination of related education and work experience;
- Experience in provider relations and accounts payable function is preferred;
- Experience with public sector work and/or State agencies
- Attend annual Conflict of Interest training.

- Demonstrated ability to articulate goals, identify problems, assess implications, provide resolution, meet deadlines and manage shifting demands in a professional manner;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, have superior organizational skills and demonstrated experience in communicating at all levels;
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work on multiple tasks;
- Excellent PC skills with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Package (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook); internet;
