About this Product Marketing Manager role at Gumloop

Gumloop · Onsite · San Francisco Office

About Us

Gumloop is the piece of AI infrastructure companies roll out to let everyone build agents securely. Let people who understand the problem build and share agents, manage their access to data, choose your AI models and host it all in your own cloud.

We're a very small team building as fast as humanly possible. Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are running agents on Gumloop across their company. We've raised over $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures to scale operations and are looking for people who care as much as we do to join the team.

Role Overview

Gumloop is an agent-first platform that helps teams build and deploy AI agents and workflows for work. The product is powerful enough for enterprise teams and accessible enough for non-technical operators. In a noisy AI market, Gumloop needs a clearer, sharper market story.

As Product Marketing Manager, you will own how Gumloop shows up in market: core positioning, website and value-prop pages, launch messaging, competitive narrative, customer proof, and sales enablement. You will translate product depth into clear language for builders, operators, executives, and technical evaluators.

This is a founding, hands-on PMM role for someone who wants to write, ship, learn from customers, and build the operating system as the company scales.

You will work directly with founders, product, sales, growth, design, and customers on a small, high-velocity team that ships constantly.

What You'll Do

  • Own Gumloop's messaging and positioning system across the homepage, landing pages, product/value-prop pages, core narratives, and audience-specific messaging.

  • Turn broad platform capability into specific, high-conversion use-case pages and stories for GTM, support, data, recruiting, operations, finance, and other teams.

  • Build launch messaging and cadence so product releases ship with clear positioning, customer language, internal enablement, and post-launch learning.

  • Create sales enablement that makes the team sharper: talk tracks, objection handling, one-pagers, competitive battlecards, demo narratives, proof points, and champion-ready stories.

  • Build a customer-proof loop: interview customers, mine calls and support notes, extract crisp before/after stories, and turn them into case studies, launch narratives, and sales proof.

  • Develop competitive positioning against workflow automation tools, AI agent platforms, internal build approaches, and adjacent enterprise AI solutions without sounding defensive or generic.

  • Use Gumloop and AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, competitive monitoring, content variation, customer analysis, and internal PMM workflows.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of direct PMM experience at a sharp B2B SaaS, developer-tool, AI, automation, data, security, or product-led company; or 5–8 years total experience from product, solutions, founder, or technical GTM with exceptional PMM craft.

  • Exceptional writing portfolio with clear, specific product marketing work you personally wrote or materially shaped.

  • Strong positioning instincts: you can define the audience, pain, alternative, promise, proof, differentiation, and message hierarchy.

  • Technical fluency with AI agents, workflows, integrations, APIs, data movement, permissions, governance, and enterprise trust concerns.

  • Customer and product judgment: you learn from customer calls, sales notes, support tickets, product usage, docs, demos, and competitive context.

  • Hands-on operating mode: you want to write the page, draft the deck, interview the customer, create the battlecard, and ship the launch assets yourself.

  • Comfort with founder-speed ambiguity, direct feedback, and lightweight process in a fast-moving startup.

Bonus

  • AI/agent, workflow automation, developer-tool, data, security, no-code/low-code, or horizontal B2B platform background.

  • First PMM, first marketer, founder, product, solutions, or technical GTM background with strong writing craft.

  • Competitive strategy depth and ability to build fair, sharp battlecards and objection handling.

  • Customer-story, launch, sales-enablement, or enterprise buyer narrative experience.

  • Has tried Gumloop or built workflows/agents with Gumloop, Zapier, n8n, Make, Clay, Retool, or similar tools.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Generous paid time off: 24 days for SF employees and 20 days globally, use them as you need

  • $350/month wellness benefit to spend on gym, spa, equipment, or whatever keeps you at your best

  • 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year

  • 401k match up to 6%
