About Fluidstack

We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.

We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!

The Decision Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

  • Automate the delivery of gigawatts. Every process that takes AI infrastructure from land to live compute becomes software: schedules, decisions, and todos generated from a live knowledge graph instead of chased by hand.

  • Forward-deploy beside the experts. Product teams sit with quality managers, sourcing leads, and deployment engineers on factory floors and sites, and turn their judgment into systems that reach every unit.

  • Deliver every supercomputer faster than the last. Dozens of concurrent projects feed one graph, so every lesson learned at one site becomes a preventive check at all of them.

Role Scope

  • Generate commissioning test procedures per asset from the design revision and spec, across all five levels, so engineers approve the diff and spend their time on the hard calls.

  • Gap-check vendor FAT procedures automatically against project requirements and Tier standards before anyone books a flight to a factory witness test.

  • Build the commissioning schedule as software: factory acceptance tests, witness tests, and on-site L1 through L5 sequencing across vendors, trades, and buildings, with dependencies enforced and replans computed the moment a test fails or a delivery slips.

  • Automate L4 and L5 execution through the BMS and EPMS, forward-deployed on live sites and factory floors with the commissioning and controls engineers whose logic the tests run through: drive setpoints, inject failures, and capture controller responses over open protocols so max-load burn-in runs like a regression suite.

  • Land every result, issue, and corrective action in the knowledge graph tied to the exact asset, so energization gates check themselves against design intent, handover opens on proof, and every failure traces back to the procedure that let it through and fixes the next building's test plans automatically.

What We're Looking For

The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.

  • You've shipped production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript, and you pick up whatever language the problem needs.

  • You've built working systems with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models), MCP servers, and agentic frameworks, and shipped them to real users.

  • You work daily in AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor and run agents autonomously alongside your own work to multiply your output.

  • You've found a problem nobody assigned you, designed the fix, and shipped it end to end without waiting for approval or direction.

  • You ship fast on foundations other engineers extend after you've moved on, and your past teammates still build on what you left.

  • You've earned credibility with hands-on experts outside software, commissioning agents, controls engineers, and contractors, and gotten them to adopt tools you built in the field.

  • You sweat product and design details, and the people using what you ship can tell.

  • Bonus: Commissioning levels and FAT programs. BMS/EPMS and control protocols (BACnet, Modbus). PLC/SCADA. Critical power and cooling equipment. QA test automation.
