Position Summary

CSN provides a full range of auto body repair services, including collision repair, scratch and dent repair, paintless dent repair, high-end refinishing, windshield and glass repair, and 24/7 accident assistance.

We have built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency, and customer care. Our team is dedicated to delivering reliable repairs, quick turnaround times, and outstanding service. We also offer a National Lifetime Warranty on all repairs, providing our customers with peace of mind for as long as they own their vehicle.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
  • Sand surfaces using hand tools and power equipment to achieve a smooth finish
  • Mask and protect areas of the vehicle that are not being painted
  • Remove dirt, debris, and imperfections to ensure proper paint adhesion
  • Assist with mixing paint and primers according to manufacturer specifications
  • Support the operation and maintenance of painting equipment and tools
  • Work collaboratively with the paint team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Requirements – Automotive Prepper

  • Previous experience as an automotive prepper or in a collision repair environment preferred
  • Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning
  • Ability to properly prep vehicles and parts for paint according to OEM and shop standards
  • Familiarity with materials and tools such as sanders, fillers, masking tape, and spray equipment
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality paint finishes
  • Ability to follow instructions from painters and production managers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and working with tools/equipment
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and PPE usage
  • Valid driver’s license
