PPC Specialist (Google Ads & Performance Marketing) – Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a PPC Specialist to take ownership of paid media performance across a rapidly growing, multi-location home services organization.

This is not a campaign monitoring role.

You’ll be responsible for driving measurable business growth by improving lead generation, optimizing advertising spend, reducing acquisition costs, and identifying opportunities to scale campaigns across multiple markets.

You’ll manage Google Ads, Local Services Ads (LSA), landing page optimization, and Meta Ads while working closely with marketing leadership to maximize return on advertising spend.

What You’ll Own

Google Ads & Paid Search Management

  • Manage Google Ads MCC accounts across multiple markets and service areas.
  • Optimize Search campaigns for active service locations.
  • Manage:
    • Campaign budgets
    • Bidding strategies
    • Keyword research and expansion
    • Negative keywords
    • Audience targeting
  • Perform ongoing search term analysis to identify new opportunities and eliminate wasted spend.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and implement optimizations that improve lead quality and conversion volume.
  • Continuously test bidding strategies and campaign structures.
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking, attribution, and reporting.

Local Services Ads (LSA)

  • Manage and optimize Local Services Ads across multiple markets.
  • Monitor:
    • Lead quality
    • Budget pacing
    • Dispute management
    • Account health
  • Maintain strong visibility and performance across all service locations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase lead volume while maintaining cost efficiency.

Landing Page Optimization & CRO

  • Build and optimize landing pages using:
    • Unbounce
    • Instapage
    • Similar platforms
  • Monitor landing page performance by:
    • Market
    • Campaign
    • Service category
  • Conduct A/B testing on:
    • Headlines
    • Calls-to-action
    • Forms
    • Layouts
    • User experience
  • Develop new location-specific landing pages to support business expansion.
  • Identify conversion bottlenecks and implement improvements that increase lead generation.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Build weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Monitor:
    • Cost Per Lead (CPL)
    • Cost Per Booked Job
    • Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
    • Conversion Rate
    • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Analyze campaign trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor budget pacing and recommend allocation adjustments.
  • Present clear recommendations on what to scale, optimize, or discontinue.

Paid Social Advertising

  • Manage Facebook and Instagram lead generation campaigns.
  • Build and optimize:
    • Custom audiences
    • Retargeting campaigns
    • Lookalike audiences
  • Collaborate with creative teams to test new ad creatives.
  • Improve campaign efficiency while lowering cost per lead.

Growth & Strategic Initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance and efficiency.
  • Stay current on:
    • Google Ads updates
    • Meta platform changes
    • AI-powered marketing tools
    • Automation technologies
  • Recommend scalable growth strategies based on campaign data.
  • Support expansion into new markets through data-driven advertising initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience.
  • Proven experience owning campaign performance from strategy through optimization.
  • Experience managing:
    • Google Search Ads
    • Google Local Services Ads (LSA)
    • Multi-location or franchise advertising accounts
  • Experience managing large advertising budgets ($200K+ monthly spend preferred).

  • Review campaign performance across multiple markets.
  • Monitor budget pacing and identify performance issues.
  • Analyze search term reports and optimize keyword strategy.
  • Adjust bids, audiences, and campaign settings.
  • Review Local Services Ads performance and lead quality.
  • Analyze landing page conversion metrics and launch A/B tests.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership on campaign priorities.
  • Launch new campaigns and optimization initiatives.
  • Recommend data-driven improvements that increase lead volume and reduce acquisition costs.
