Physical Therapist Director

About This Position

We are recruiting a Physical Therapist Director for a full-time outpatient role in Berryville, VA. The position offers $90,000-$120,000 per year and follows a steady Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.

This is a strong fit for a Physical Therapist who enjoys the clinical side of care but also wants to help lead the larger picture: staff support, treatment quality, documentation, communication, and daily clinic operations.

How This Role Supports the Clinic

As the Physical Therapist Director, your work will help patients receive clear evaluations, focused treatment plans, and consistent follow-through. You will also help the clinical team stay organized and supported throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
• Develop care plans based on diagnosis, function, and patient goals
• Treat patients recovering from injuries, surgery, pain, weakness, and mobility limitations
• Support staff with treatment progression and clinical decision-making
• Review care plans, progress notes, and documentation for compliance
• Help coordinate patient flow and daily clinic priorities

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to lead with clear communication and practical direction
