Physical Therapist Director

About This Opportunity

This full-time Physical Therapist Director role is based in Middletown, VA and offers a salary range of $90,000-$120,000 per year. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

The clinic is looking for a Physical Therapist who can lead with clinical skill, good communication, and a thoughtful approach to patient care. You will help patients work toward better movement, reduced pain, stronger function, and greater independence in their daily lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Evaluating new patients and creating treatment plans
• Providing direct outpatient physical therapy services
• Leading daily clinical activities within the clinic
• Supporting therapists and staff with care planning questions
• Reviewing progress notes, care plans, and discharge documentation
• Tracking patient progress and updating treatment plans as needed
• Helping maintain clinic policies, care standards, and compliance
• Supporting a respectful and organized clinic environment

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Clear communication skills and a steady leadership style
