Job Summary

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to provide care in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic serving patients ages 11 to 90. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient-facing work, structured treatment planning, and helping people move with better strength, comfort, and function.

You will treat a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal concerns while working with a steady caseload and a clinical team that includes Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants.

At-a-Glance Details

• Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
• Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits
• Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 PTAs
• EMR System: WebPT
• Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
• Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Preferred Work Schedule

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine physical therapy needs
• Build treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, strengthening, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
• Support patients with injury recovery, post-surgical needs, pain concerns, weakness, and movement limitations
• Educate patients on home programs and safe activity changes
• Monitor progress and make updates to care plans when appropriate
• Complete documentation through WebPT
• Collaborate with PTAs and other clinical staff to support treatment continuity

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
• Ability to work with patients across different ages and physical needs
