Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient clinic in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. This position supports the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans for patients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical needs, pain, weakness, and mobility limitations.

The role is a good fit for a PTA who enjoys outpatient rehab, clear treatment plans, and a clinic pace that allows for quality patient interaction.

Job Details

Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office
Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour
Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience
Clinic: PT-owned

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with strengthening, stretching, mobility, balance, and functional rehab activities
• Monitor patient performance and comfort during treatment
• Report patient progress and changes to the supervising PT
• Review proper exercise technique and home program instructions
• Keep treatment areas safe, clean, and ready
• Document care provided during each session
• Support a professional and positive patient experience

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• PTA Degree required
• Outpatient experience preferred
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Interest in orthopedic outpatient therapy
• Ability to work well with PTs, patients, and clinic staff
