About the Clinic

This PT-owned clinic in Hallandale Beach, FL provides outpatient orthopedic care for patients recovering from pain, injury, surgery, weakness, and movement limitations.

The clinic keeps patient volume at 2 patients per hour, allowing the PTA to stay engaged in each treatment session.

About the Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant will help carry out treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist. This role involves exercise instruction, movement training, patient education, and clear communication with the supervising PT.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Physical Therapist’s established plan of care
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercise and functional movement
• Support strength, flexibility, balance, gait, and mobility goals
• Monitor patient form, safety, and treatment response
• Report progress, changes, or concerns to the PT
• Reinforce home exercise programs
• Complete daily notes and treatment documentation
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment space

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• PTA Degree required
• Outpatient experience required, including clinical rotation experience for new graduates
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year
• Schedule: 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office
