Role Purpose:

The People Operations Assistant Manager supports the People Operations Manager in driving talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, onboarding, training coordination and operational people partnering to ensure effective HR service delivery and positive employee experience.

The role works closely with business stakeholders and Regional People Team to support day-to-day people operations, recruitment, employee development, and people initiatives while escalating strategic, complex and sensitive people matters to the People Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition
- Oversee day-to-day recruitment activities to ensure timely and quality hiring.
- Support Hiring Managers in defining hiring requirements, recruitment priorities, and interview processes.
- Monitor recruitment pipeline, hiring progress, recruitment KPIs, and candidate experience.
- Coach and support Talent Acquisition team members to improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical business functions.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
- Partner with Regional People Team on recruitment-related initiatives where applicable.

2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation, confirmation, internal transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Ensure employee lifecycle processes are delivered consistently and efficiently.
- Coordinate exit interview process and provide observations to support continuous improvement.
- Work closely with HR Operations team to enhance employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Recommend operational improvements to employee lifecycle processes.


3. Onboarding & Training Coordination
- Lead and continuously improve onboarding programs for new employees.
- Coordinate orientation sessions and new hire integration activities.
- Coordinate mandatory compliance training, functional training, and internal learning programs.
- Partner with managers to identify operational training needs.
- Monitor training completion and maintain training records.
- Evaluate training participation and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.


4. Operational People Business Partnering
- Support line managers on routine people matters, employee management practices, and day-to-day HR-related issues.
- Provide practical HR guidance on employee performance discussions, employee development, attendance, and people practices.
- Support managers in probation review process and employee development discussions.
- Coordinate implementation of regional and local people initiatives.
- Escalate complex, sensitive, disciplinary, legal, compliance, or organizational matters to the People Operations Manager.
- Build trusted working relationships with business stakeholders to ensure effective HR service delivery.


5. Team Coordination & Capability Building
- Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to HR Operations team members responsible for Talent Acquisition, onboarding, employee experience, and training coordination.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous capability development within the HR team.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Encourage collaboration across HR functions to improve service quality.


6. HR Projects & Regional Collaboration
- Coordinate implementation of Regional People initiatives in Thailand.
- Support cross-functional HR projects and organizational initiatives.
- Prepare operational HR reports related to recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee lifecycle.
- Support HR analytics and people insights for operational review.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance People Operations effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 6–8 years of Human Resources experience with exposure to Talent Acquisition, Employee Lifecycle, HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, or HR Generalist functions.
- Experience in multinational, technology, logistics, retail, or fast-paced organizations is preferred.
- Experience working with Regional stakeholders is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong coaching, coordination, and problem-solving capability.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Hands-on mindset with strong execution capability.
