Job Introduction
The Data Specialist will work toward obtaining, researching, interpreting and entering OEM service and repairs data for syndication to various products. The Data Specialist must apply specialized knowledge of automotive vehicle parts & repairs for each assigned OEM; and update & maintain all data toward providing accurate information within our products. The Data Specialist is responsible for the accuracy and efficiency standards of the Company and all supported products. This individual also completes ad hoc and advanced Company tasks and projects as assigned. The individual will need to work with other team members and Management as needed to meet partner expectations. Additional responsibilities will include sourcing of new data, creating documentation for communicating process flows and data entry methods, tracking progress toward goals, summarizing information, and reporting to various levels of Tekion.
Key Role & Responsibilities

Data Specialist role should source, analyze, edit, review, enter, and validate parts & repair information

Manage internal tools and processes around parts & repairs

Collaborate with Data Services team, product managers and implementation teams to ensure data meets Tekion and customer needs

Utilize data feeds, websites, documents or similar to obtain and process new data updates
-
Individual must enter all required data in an accurate and timely manner

Work closely with our vendors and internal teams to ensure data accuracy, structure and timeliness SLAs are met

Ability to work well with support team members, peers, and Management toward shared goals

Coach new hires and team members on processes and domain terminologies

Research and answer technical questions related to parts & repairs
Basic Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in data services, data entry, or a related area.

Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
