We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Operations Manager with 17–22 years of experience to lead and optimize large-scale manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in production management, operational excellence, resource planning, and process optimization. This leadership role requires a strategic professional who can drive productivity, maintain exceptional quality standards, and ensure efficient utilization of resources while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities, ensuring timely delivery of products, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices that enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, maintenance, procurement, and senior leadership to achieve organizational goals while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Develop and execute production plans that align with business objectives and customer demand.
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity utilization, and resource allocation to meet delivery timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar operational excellence methodologies.
  • Optimize production processes to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Analyze production metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Develop preventive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and maximize asset utilization.
  • Manage production budgets, operational costs, inventory levels, and resource planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production managers, supervisors, and operational teams to build a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure workplace safety by enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards across manufacturing facilities.
  • Prepare operational reports and present performance insights and improvement strategies to senior leadership.
  • Support capacity expansion, automation initiatives, and digital transformation projects to improve operational performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA in Operations Management is preferred.
  • 17–22 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management.
  • Proven experience leading large production teams in medium to large manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing systems, process optimization, and operational strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in improving productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
