  • Conduct routine inspections and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems, not limited to DC and LV components and connections.
  • Responsible for all electrical systems and civil works in the solar PV plant to ensure compliance to regulations and enhance system health.
  • Attend to electrical breakdowns related to solar PV systems, initiate fault diagnosis and corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain proper documentation and related records through the channels provided for all corrective and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct QA & QC inspections during project executions to ensure project quality meet the standards.
  • Establish effective communication, and maintain proper documentation and related records through the channels provided.
  • Supervise and monitor any works related to solar PV system performed by appointed Contractor.
  • Provide Inspection Report, Preventive Maintenance Report, and any product warranty claim report including inverter, PV module, data logger etc.
  • Manage and maintain assigned company vehicle (If applicable)
  • Manage, maintain and sustain spare parts and tools inventory.
  • Support and involve with O&M related works at Southern region as per instructed by Engineer

Requirements

  • Possess 1 year of working experience in an environment involving operation and controlling low voltage electrical equipment.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge and skills in wiring for LV installation.
  • Extensive knowledge on electrical theory and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and its regulations.
  • Possess valid Chargeman A0/A1 certificate from Energy Commission (ST) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Good in computer literate.
  • Customer oriented, independent, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Possess valid driving license D and GDL will be advantages.
  • Good communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally as well as written).
  • Physically and mentally strong and fit.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
