The work
The OpenText Data Migration Consultant is responsible for ensuring the successful migration of both structured and unstructured content—including PeopleSoft data, PDFs, images, and custom repository content—into the target enterprise content management system (xECM or similar). This role involves designing, developing, and executing ETL/ELT processes specifically tailored to PeopleSoft source environments and custom repositories, while resolving migration challenges related to data structures, formats, volumes, and ingestion rules. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, PeopleSoft administrators, xECM specialists, and custom repository owners to define migration scope, cutover strategies, validation checkpoints, and integrated end‑to‑end data migration solutions. They will also document all migration artifacts, including mappings, runbooks, and exception‑handling procedures, and support xECM Functional Consultants throughout solution design and execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure successful migration of structured and unstructured content—including PDFs, images, and custom repository artifacts—into the target system (xECM or equivalent)
- Design, develop, and execute ETL/ELT processes tailored for PeopleSoft data and custom repository content
- Identify and resolve migration issues related to PeopleSoft data structures, custom repository formats, volume handling, and xECM ingestion rules
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, PeopleSoft administrators, and repository owners to define migration scope, cutover plans, and post‑migration verification
- Document migration artifacts, including mappings, runbooks, and exception‑handling procedures
- Partner with xECM Functional Consultants to develop integrated end‑to‑end solutions supporting business and governance requirements
Here’s what you need:
- 2+ years of experience with ETL/ELT development and data‑migration methodologies
- Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft data structures and custom repositories
- Experience migrating unstructured content (PDFs, images, scanned files) into enterprise content management platforms such as xECM
- Ability to troubleshoot migration issues, ingestion errors, and high‑volume data‑processing challenges
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with cross‑functional technical and business teams
- Proven ability to document detailed migration artifacts, mappings, and validation processes
Nice to have:
- Hands‑on SAP experience

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
