Practice Exceptional Women's Health Care—Without the Traditional OB Call Burden
Colorado Mountain Medical (CMM), a physician-led, multispecialty practice proudly affiliated with Vail Health, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Nocturnist to join our growing Women's Health team in the heart of Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
This newly created role is designed to support a thriving OB/GYN practice, improve physician work-life balance, and provide exceptional care to women and families throughout our mountain communities. As a Nocturnist, you'll focus exclusively on inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care during overnight hours, working alongside a collaborative team of employed physicians, advanced practice providers, labor and delivery nurses, and pediatric specialists. The program is being developed to reduce provider call burden and enhance continuity of care for patients. [

Position Highlights
- Provide overnight labor and delivery coverage
- Evaluate and manage obstetric triage patients
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as clinically indicated
- Manage OB emergencies and urgent gynecologic consultations
- Collaborate closely with daytime OB/GYN physicians to ensure smooth patient handoffs
- Participate in quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
- Support a patient-centered, team-based care model
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
