About this Network and Computer Systems Administrator (24x7 Operations) (5457) (TS/SCI CI Poly) (Ft. Bragg, NC) role at SMX
SMX is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to provide 24x7 operational support for classified enterprise systems and mission networks. Responsibilities include proactive monitoring, incident response, break/fix support, configuration management, patch management, and system availability for critical Army mission systems.
This is a full-time onsite position in Ft. Bragg, NC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 operational support for enterprise systems.
- Perform system monitoring and health checks.
- Respond to outages and service interruptions.
- Execute break/fix activities.
- Implement patches and security updates.
- Maintain system configurations.
- Support change management processes.
- Troubleshoot server and network issues.
- Document incidents and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with engineering teams during maintenance windows.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years supporting enterprise IT operations.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience with VMware.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise networking.
- Knowledge of Active Directory.
- Experience implementing DISA STIGs.
- Security+ CE.
