We are looking for a Mid-Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern enterprise applications. In this role, you will develop scalable backend solutions using the latest .NET technologies, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance applications while following Agile development practices and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET
• Develop and maintain microservices following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
• Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and gRPC services
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions
• Develop and optimise SQL Server databases and T-SQL queries
• Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka
• Develop and deploy applications using Microsoft Azure services
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in C#/.NET software development
• Strong experience with C# and .NET development
• Hands-on experience with .NET 6 and/or .NET 8 (.NET 10 is a plus)
• Experience developing microservices
• Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and gRPC services
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (API Management, Application Insights, App Services, etc.)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including repositories, pipelines, releases, and deployments
• Familiarity with OpenShift or other containerised environments
• Experience with SonarQube, unit testing, integration testing, and code quality practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience working on web banking or digital banking platforms
• Experience within the financial services or banking sector
