About the Role (Your Why)
The Microsoft Licensing Operations Coordinator plays a key role within Datacom's Microsoft Licensing team, supporting the administration and operational management of Microsoft licensing programs for enterprise, government, and commercial customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing licensing orders, agreements, renewals, and a range of operational processes across Microsoft's licensing programs, including EA, EAS, and CSP. Working closely with Licensing Consultants, Sales, and Microsoft, you will help ensure licensing transactions are processed accurately, compliantly, and within agreed service timeframes.
This is a highly organised and detail-oriented role suited to someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes. While operational in nature, the role offers broad exposure to Microsoft's licensing ecosystem and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise in software licensing operations.
This is a national role and can be based anywhere in Australia.
What You Will Do
Microsoft Licensing Operations
- Process Microsoft licensing orders, renewals, and agreement transactions.
- Support the administration of Enterprise Agreements (EA), Enterprise Subscription Agreements (EAS), and CSP services.
- Maintain accurate licensing records, customer agreements, and operational documentation.
Customer & Partner Administration
- Manage customer onboarding activities, tenant administration, user access, subscription changes, and Partner Center updates.
- Coordinate licensing program documentation, contract updates, and digital signing processes.
- Liaise with Microsoft and internal stakeholders to resolve licensing and administrative queries.
Reporting, Billing & Compliance
- Produce operational reports and perform licensing validation and compliance checks.
- Support billing administration, credit requests, invoicing updates, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure all licensing transactions meet Microsoft and Datacom compliance requirements.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, process adherence, and continuous improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of operational procedures, documentation, and licensing knowledge resources.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with Microsoft Enterprise Agreements (EA/EAS).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing programs and operational processes.
- Experience supporting Microsoft licensing administration, order processing, renewals, or licensing operations.
- Experience using Microsoft Partner Center.
- Experience supporting Microsoft CSP operations and administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work effectively within a nationally distributed team environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience working within a Microsoft Licensing Solution Provider (LSP), reseller, distributor, or Microsoft partner environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft commercial agreements including EA, EAS, and CSP.
- Experience supporting enterprise and government customers.
- Exposure to licensing compliance, reporting, billing administration, and agreement governance activities.
