What you’ll be doing
As our new Restaurant Onboarding Team Lead, you’ll manage and develop our Onboarding team while ensuring that our restaurant and retail partners are set up for long-term success on the Wolt platform.
You’ll set the direction, lead by example, and ensure that processes, tools, and best practices are in place to support scalable growth.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Lead, train, and develop the onboarding team to deliver a best-in-class merchant onboarding experience;
- Define clear goals and monitoring performance to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and partner satisfaction;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure seamless merchant handovers;
- Oversee onboarding workflows, ensuring data quality, and resolving process bottlenecks;
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and implementing best practices;
- Foster a supportive and high-performance team culture through coaching, feedback, and regular one-on-ones;
- Ensure consistency and compliance by maintaining and updating onboarding procedures and documentation;
Our humble expectations
- 2-3 years in onboarding, customer operations, or implementation in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
- 1+ year leading ICs as a shift lead or team lead, including running 1:1s, coaching, and performance feedback;
- Proven track record hitting team SLAs/KPIs for new-partner launches, with experience in capacity planning and scheduling;
- Tooling experience with CRM/workflow systems and spreadsheets/BI (e.g., Salesforce or similar; Excel/Google Sheets; Looker/Power BI).
- Fluent in local language and English is a must;
