In addition to restaurants, a fitness studio, rooftop pool, in-house cinema and a spacious spa area, the hotel offers 65 rooms in various sizes, 20 flats and four lofts. In addition to Berlin and Great Britain, there are other houses in the USA, Toronto, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Mumbai. The SOHO HOUSE includes the concept store THE STORE X. The role...
At Soho House the Membership Receptionist is responsible for welcoming, directing or signing in all members and guests to the property. As a Receptionist, you will wear many hats; reception desk and handle basic admin duties,
attending the cloak room as well as performing guestlist responsibilities.
As part of our Soho House team, it's your job to make sure our members and guests have a great experience every time. If you have a natural charm of hospitality, we'll give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun, and make a difference.
Responsibilities...
- Ensure every member is welcomed by name (if local) and guest is welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner.
- Answer high-volume phone lines and calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries.
- Well-versed on standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment, reception area, desk and coat check closet.
- Perform Guest List duties on the floor level, club and/or Rooftop (if applicable).
- Support, redirect and problem solve in real-time to ensure any guest related concerns are addressed and action items have been set.
- Assist guests by checking/ retrieving their coats and/or items they left.
- Build relationships with members and guests and communicate and red flags and positive feedback to management.
- Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
- Performs other duties as required to support the running of the house.
