What You'll Do
As a Coil Winding Machine Operator, you'll:
- Set up and operate coil winding machines to manufacture electrical transformer coils.
- Read blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to produce coils to exact requirements.
- Load wire and materials into winding equipment and make machine adjustments as needed.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent, high-quality production.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, strip, shape, and assemble components.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and workmanship.
- Follow safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work
Preferred
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Hoist or overhead crane experience is a plus
- Forklift or industrial lift truck experience is a plus

Work Environment
This position requires working in a manufacturing facility where you'll:
- Operate specialized production equipment
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety-toe footwear
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Work safely while maintaining quality production standards
Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical are required.
