About this Manager, Digital & Social Communications (Americas) role at Matchgroup
Match Group, through its portfolio companies, is a leading provider of dating products available globally. Our portfolio of brands includes Tinder, Match, OkCupid, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, as well as a number of other brands, each designed to increase our users' likelihood of finding a meaningful connection.
We're looking for a Manager, Digital & Social Communications to join our team. Our Corporate Affairs team exists to build Match Group’s reputation and promote the category with users, investors, media, policymakers, and current/prospective employees. That means driving investor reconsideration, improving perception of dating apps, and positioning Match Group as the category leader. You’ll own how we listen to, measure, and show up across social and digital channels, bringing analytics, and storytelling (video, corporate website, and blog) to our highest-priority campaigns.
When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our LA office 3 days/week.
How you'll make an impact:
-
Own social listening and reputation monitoring (via social listening tools) across earned and social channels, tracking sentiment and coverage for flagship campaigns like the Anti-Loneliness Campaign, Human Connection Hub, and Healthy Dating Campaign, and flagging risks and opportunities to leadership
-
Manage the corporate website and blog as the home for our storytelling, publishing campaign reports (e.g., our economics-of-dating report), narrative pieces, and executive thought leadership
-
Own video and digital amplification plans for major campaigns and executive moments, extending the reach of earned coverage and events (e.g., Healthy Dating Campaign, regional forums, trust and safety campaigns)
-
Support employer brand strategy across social and digital channels, partnering with HR/Talent to spotlight our people and culture.
-
Monitor social and digital sentiment tied to Trust & Safety, policy, and executive reputation moments, providing early warning on emerging issues
We could be a Match if:
-
You have 5+ years of experience in digital/social media management, corporate communications, or a related field
-
You have hands-on experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Emplifi, Meltwater, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Google Analytics) and survey-based measurement
-
You’ve built or supported employer brand strategy and content
-
You have experience managing a corporate website/CMS and blog content
-
You’re comfortable coordinating video production and digital amplification, from creative brief through final delivery
-
You have strong analytical skills and can turn data into clear, actionable recommendations tied to OKRs
-
You’re comfortable working across time zones and regional teams (US, Europe, International) to keep measurement and content consistent
-
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
What's the team like?
-
Successful individuals in this role are proactive, organized, self-directed, and can prioritize multiple projects while maintaining strict confidentiality
-
We take joy in our work—we’re lucky to tell stories about love and human connection
-
We prioritize proactive storytelling over reactive response, while still knowing how to assess risk and respond calmly when issues arise
-
We solve problems and assume best intent. We have honest, open conversations with teammates and partners across the business
