Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Learning Design Manager to lead execution for
our global learning organization while serving as the Bangalore site lead. This role
combines hands-on learning design leadership, AI-enabled content development, project
management, and local team leadership. The successful candidate will translate high-level
business goals into production-ready learning experiences, establish scalable AI-assisted
development processes, and foster a collaborative, high-performing Bangalore team that
partners closely with U.S. leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate strategic business goals into learning architectures, curricula, certification
paths, and course roadmaps.
• Leverage generative AI tools to rapidly research, synthesize, organize, and draft
learning content.
• Develop production-ready storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, labs, assessments, and
supporting documentation.
• Partner with subject matter experts to extract technical knowledge and convert it into
engaging learning experiences.
• Own the end-to-end learning development lifecycle from intake through delivery.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality across multiple
concurrent initiatives.
• Coordinate internal designers, developers, contractors, and external vendors.
• Continuously improve AI-enabled learning development workflows and establish best
practices.
Bangalore Site Leadership
• Serve as the day-to-day onsite leader for the Bangalore learning team.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture through regular in-office
engagement.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and informal leadership to local team members.
• Support onboarding of new employees and help establish consistent operating rhythms.
• Partner closely with U.S.-based leadership to align priorities, communicate progress,
and resolve issues.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration between India and global stakeholders. • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, team effectiveness, and operational
excellence.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of instructional design, learning experience design, or learning program
management.
• Experience leading complex learning initiatives and influencing cross-functional
stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success using generative AI tools to accelerate content creation.
• Strong curriculum design, storyboarding, writing, and assessment development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience leading teams, mentoring colleagues, or serving as a site or
functional lead is highly desirable.
