Management Consultant

NTT DATA Europe & Latam, Branch in USA, Inc. seeks Management Consultants in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Projects: Spearheading projects related to digital and operational strategy across diverse industries, with a focus on process improvement and optimization, tool analysis and evaluation, implementations, project management, and other critical areas.
  • Business Consulting: Executing business consulting projects to advise our clients on various aspects of business transformation across different industrial sectors.
  • Technology Collaboration: Collaborating closely with our technology solutions teams to creatively harness technology to support processes as part of the overall solution design.
  • Executive Client Relations: Maintaining robust executive relationships with our clients, serving as a key point of contact to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
  • Developing Commercial Proposals: Taking responsibility for developing compelling and persuasive commercial proposals to present to prospective clients.
  • Solution Innovation: Cultivating innovation in creating solutions to address the specific challenges of our clients in various strategic areas.
  • People Development: Contributing to the professional development of your team by offering guidance and support for the growth and success of less experienced consultants.
  • Functional Technical Expertise: Serving as a functional technical expert, sharing your expertise and knowledge with the team.
  • Commitment to Quality: Actively participating in projects from initiation to completion to ensure successful and high-quality delivery.
  • Client Advisory: Providing expert guidance to clients to effectively address their needs and inquiries.

The role will supervise 20 subordinates in positions of Associate Consultant, Senior Consultant, Junior Consultant, Business Analyst, Consultant Trainee, Project Analyst, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Operations Analyst, Implementation Specialist, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Steward, Research Associate, Change Management Assistant, Client Support Specialist, Knowledge Management Assistant, Business Subject Matter Experts, Sustainability Experts, Climate Change & Environment Experts, Sustainable Finance Experts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Requires 4 years of experience in the following:
    • Business Acumen - Understanding business and market strategies for organizational benefit, Knowledge of company goals and tasks, Participation in initiatives, Understanding client needs and key stakeholders, Developing opportunities, Knowledge of competitors, strategies, trends, and how business works.
    • Results Orientation - Seeking better ways of working and using personal systems to measure results, Improving results with specific changes, measuring effectiveness, optimizing resources, Setting goals for self/team, analyzing cost-benefit, promoting environment for achieving goals. Assuming business risks, committing resources, influencing strategic objectives, analyzing impact on revenue/profitability.
    • Quality Orientation - Ensuring work meets requirements, correcting errors, focusing on detail, seeking excellence, Avoiding errors through thoroughness, applying methodology. Ensuring precision through controls, checking work, valuing reliability. Ensuring precision of work, establishing error-detection mechanisms. Creating quality standards, improving tools/procedures for excellence across organization.
    • People Development - Empowering people/teams, give responsibility, foster creativity, and support development, Stimulating others, explaining tasks, listening, helping, motivating, Valuing capacities of others, supporting, identifying motivations/skills, promoting responsibility, Identifying motivators, holding meetings, giving continuous feedback, fostering development, Taking risks to give growth opportunities, defining strategies for talent improvement, sharing info/advice.
    • Analytical Thinking - Analyzing relationships, causes, and consequences in situations, Identifying main parts of tasks/problems, Establishing simple causal relationships between elements, Breaking down complex problems, identifying hidden relations, considering all information, Creating systemic understanding and integrating complex factors.
    • Conceptual Thinking - Identifying patterns/relationships and use creative/inductive reasoning, Using basic criteria and experience to identify relevant aspects, Analyzing new situations, identifying patterns with theoretical/practical knowledge, Simplifying complex ideas and making them clear and understandable, Integrating abstract patterns into practical strategies.
    • Efficient Team Creation - Forming effective teams, instill team spirit and morale; Encouraging team to share strengths/weaknesses, fostering communication, Assigning tasks based on strengths, encouraging shared responsibility, Creating strategies to prevent dysfunctional behaviors, securing resources, Building sustainable structures for long-term team efficiency.
    • Strategic Vision - Adapting/applying business knowledge to long-term evolution, making decisions under uncertainty, Understanding organizational goals and strategies, prioritizing accordingly, Developing long-term objectives, aligning daily activities, Anticipating market trends, defining positioning strategies, having global vision, Guiding organization through uncertain scenarios with leadership vision.
    • Negotiation - Conducting negotiations in difficult situations, gain concessions, and maintain trust, Maintaining communication, setting limits, ensuring understanding, Setting objectives, presenting positions, avoiding rigidity, seeking mutual benefit, Reaching fair deals, detecting deception, Achieving advantageous agreements, Acting as a trusted negotiator in high-stakes contexts.
    • Critical Thinking - Reasoning logically, question beliefs, and challenge status quo, Questioning current methods in context, Analyzing/evaluating information, Identifying alternative strategies logically, Promoting critical thinking in team.
    • 25% domestic travel to client sites required.
    • 40 hours per week.
