After successfully opening our flagship Institute in New York in 2022 and expanding to South Florida in 2024, we are now bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast with the launch of our Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join our founding LA team. You will be responsible for bringing rigor and thoroughness to the development of clinical operations in our largest clinic yet, as well as maintaining and supporting our strong and inclusive organizational culture and performance standards. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with clinical, finance, technology, care coordination, hospitality, content, events, and experience and to drive excellence.

About The Role:

  • Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality Screening/Diagnostic Mammography and DEXA (Bone Densitometry) scans in strict accordance with Atria safety protocols and California state regulations.
  • Patient Safety & Comfort: Assume full responsibility for patient safety during imaging. Utilize proper positioning tools, equipment adjustments, and ergonomically correct techniques to ensure both diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort.
  • Empathetic Communication: Communicate procedures clearly and compassionately, adapting your style to the patient’s level of understanding. Maintain professional boundaries by referring specific diagnostic or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily/weekly Quality Control (QC) tests on Mammography and DEXA equipment to ensure compliance with MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) and California RHB requirements.
  • Cross-Modality Support: As authorized, assist the clinical team by supporting other imaging modalities (e.g., MRI Focus or CT) to maintain seamless departmental workflow.
  • Administrative Integrity: Ensure all images are accurately documented, labeled, and archived within the PACS/RIS (Athena/Ambra) for radiologist review.

California Regulatory & Certification Requirements

To practice in California, candidates must meet specific California Department of Public Health (CDPH) – Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) requirements:

  • California CRT: Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • California Mammography Certification: Valid California Mammography Technologist Certificate.
  • Continuing Education: Must maintain 24 Category A CE credits every two years, including at least 15 credits specifically in Mammography (as required by MQSA/RHB).
  • Precision: An obsession with detail and image quality.
  • Excellence: A drive to meet the highest clinical standards in a boutique, "member-first" setting.

Adaptability: Readiness to tackle the challenges of a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment.

Compensation: $65-75hr

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program; Vocational or Technical School Diploma preferred.
  • Certification:  Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) registration in good standing.Preferred ARRT certification in Bone Densitometry (BD) 
    • Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association).
  • Experience: 2+ years of dedicated experience as a Technologist in Mammography and DEXA.
  • Soft Skills: Must be a compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to a collegial work environment.

Schedule

  • Must be okay with working 5x8s, paid in accordance to CA law
  • Potential for weekend availability as we scale west coast region
