Here is how the Maintenance Technician I/II/III/IV role will impact our business:
As a Maintenance Technician with EQT you will be responsible for small to medium sized construction projects, performing preventative maintenance, and making repairs on gas producing equipment and infrastructure.
The Maintenance Technician I/II/III/IV responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working as a member of a team that does small to medium sized construction projects
- Starts up, shuts down well pads and assists with major equipment overhauls or replacements.
- Takes readings (pressures, temperatures, volumes hours run, etc.) and records them in a computerized database (Maximo).
- Operates various types of equipment and tools used in facilities construction.
- Performs basic operational tasks such as blowing drips, emptying tanks, refilling fluids and checking tank levels.
- Loads and unloads material and equipment from trucks as required.
- Scoping projects, making parts lists, and communicating with effected groups.
- Complete work in Maximo and SalesForce.
- Ability to assist welders as directed by management.
Required Experience and Skills:
- At least one year of experience in a related field or industry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Basic electrical, controls, process and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes, but is not limited to, lifting and carrying 70 lbs., walking 1/2 mile at various inclines, etc.) necessary to demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Basic knowledge of construction operations and maintenance
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Will be required to work on-call and off shift rotation as dictated by schedule.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of oil and gas operations
- Knowledge of pressure regulation systems and pneumatic systems.
- Basic skills and a knowledge of excavation equipment and capabilities preferred.
- Basic gas quality processing and conditioning skills preferred
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
