About this Litigation Associate role at Barnes & Thornburg LLP
The Morristown, NJ office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeks a Litigation Associate with at least three to four years of litigation experience to work on complex commercial and consumer products litigation matters. Candidates will ideally have experience in product liability and mass torts and/or in commercial litigation. Experience defending pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or consumer health or consumer facing products is preferred.
Job Requirements:
Three to four (may consider 5) years of litigation experience, specifically in product liability and torts and/or complex commercial litigation.
Experience with Multidistrict Litigation (MDLs) and class actions would be a plus
Strong New Jersey state court experience required; federal court experience preferred.
Experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, hearings, and trial or trial preparation.
Will also consider federal or appellate court clerks.
Strong academic credentials.
Strong drive and ability to work independently but also work well within a large, collaborative team.
Admission to the NJ bar; admission to the NY bar a plus.
