About this Lead Dispatcher role at Spectrum Comm Inc
Spectrum Comm Inc., is looking for candidates to support the Fleet Readiness Center, East (FRC-E) at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. The Lead Equipment Maintenance Dispatcher will work with Transportation Support Services Department personnel to check out and receive designated vehicles for all FRC-E and command designated personnel. Safety, accuracy, and timeliness of pick-ups and deliveries of aircraft parts, components, and materials are essential factors in meeting established production schedules.
Additional tasks include:
- Verification and formal reconciliation of Operator credit card (Fleet/GSA card) receipts after each use
- Maintain all Fleet or GSA vehicle information and coordinate with various agencies (Government and GSA Fleet Service Representative) as required
- Verify and provide operators’ receipts to Comptroller representative for use of Government provided fuels, etc., as provided on-site at MCAS/FRCE or as provided via a Government maintained ("Fleet" or "GSA") gas card.
- Coordinate in advance when the vehicles require repairs beyond the TSS repair capabilities
- Prepare Petroleum Usage Reports for all diesel and MOGAS equipment marked with an FRCE plant account number or a GSA license plate
- Maintain all applicable publications and directives for use
- Maintain all equipment maintenance records to include vender supplied receipts for warranty work and repairs.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in local systems for accountability management, to include using standard MS Office software products
This position may be required to work occasional weekend shifts. It is also a position covered under a collective bargaining agreement.
Requirements
- Lifting up to 45 lbs. without assistance
- Vision of at least 20/40 in each eye, with or without corrective lenses
- Vision requirements include color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Work in all types of weather, including extreme hot/cold temperatures and humid climates
- Walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and bending during a work shift
- Dusty and noisy work environments that require wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety toed shoes, hearing protection, and gloves during a work shift
- Operate a handheld VHF radio
- Maintain a valid State Driver’s License
