The Key Account Manager drives revenue growth across RISE's Top 1000 Corporations segment, both by winning new enterprise accounts and by expanding revenue within an existing portfolio. The role represents the customer's interests internally — coordinating with Engineering, Billing, and other teams to resolve account needs — while building the business case for network investment where commercial opportunity exists. Working with the wider sales team, they translate account and market insight into action plans, sales strategy, and acquisition campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and win new accounts within the Top 1000 Corporations segment to grow revenue
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow or diversify revenue within the assigned account portfolio
  • Plan and execute activities to penetrate competitor-held accounts within assigned market segments
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts and decision-makers within assigned and target accounts
  • Develop business cases and represent commercial interests when coordinating with Network Engineering on network expansion priorities
  • Act as the customer's advocate and coordinator with Engineering, Billing, and other internal teams for account-related matters, such as scheduled maintenance or billing collection
  • Develop account action plans and sales strategy recommendations for the sales team and management
  • Execute and complete assigned projects within their account coverage
  • Lead or participate in customer acquisition campaigns targeting specific buildings, areas, verticals, or market segments
  • Document and share sales process best practices with the wider sales team
  • Qualifications

  • Tertiary-level education or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of substantial experience in B2B or enterprise account management, business development, or sales
  • Demonstrated experience managing or acquiring accounts within large or top-tier corporations
  • Experience in telecommunications, ISP, or a related industry
  • Proficiency with CRM software
