About this Junior Graphic Designer role at Brainlabs

Brainlabs · Onsite · Argentina

Brainlabs is the media agency built to answer one question: what's actually driving profit? Founded in 2012 by Daniel Gilbert, we were built by engineers before we were a media agency. Today, 1,000+ Brainlabbers across five continents use our proprietary agents, built on 32 media tools and over 2,500 logged experiments, to help brands connect every channel they plan and buy to one thing: the bottom line.

We’re looking for a talented and efficient Junior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Studio team. This is an execution-focused role ideal for a designer who loves the craft of layout and production and thrives on getting things done.

Reporting directly to the Senior Graphic Designer, you will support the production of a vast array of assets for a key client. You will be the engine room of the team—taking direction from the Lead and turning around high-quality website updates, internal collateral, and presentation decks with speed and precision.

Your Portfolio

We want to see your eye for detail and layout. As part of the interview process, please share an online portfolio that showcases your technical skills. We are open to seeing both personal and professional projects that can include online or print work. From website banners to clean, well-structured presentation slides, we want to see "anything and everything" that demonstrates your ability to follow guidelines and create polished work.

What this job is:

  • Production Powerhouse: You will be hands-on with the tools every day, churning out high-quality assets that keep the client happy and the business moving.
  • High Volume & Fast-Paced: You will manage a large number of assets. You need to be comfortable switching gears instantly from updating website visuals to refining a complex PowerPoint deck without missing a beat.
  • Internal Focus: You will work closely with your Lead and Project Managers to execute the vision. You are the reliable hands behind the scenes.

What this job isn’t:

  • A "Solo" Mission: You won't be left to figure things out on your own. You will be working lock-step with your Lead, learning from them daily while working together to hit deadlines.
  • Slow-paced: We deal with a large number of assets. You need to be able to switch gears instantly without missing a beat.

What We Are Looking For

  • Speed & Accuracy: You can work quickly without sacrificing quality. You double-check your own work before sending it for review.
  • Adaptability: You can strictly follow corporate brand guidelines for a major retailer, ensuring every pixel is compliant.
  • Microsoft 365 Mastery: You understand that Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential design tools, and you are comfortable working within them.
  • Meticulousness: You ensure that even the smallest details in layout, typography, and alignment are never missed.

Core Responsibilities

Design Execution & Production

  • Execute the production of a high volume of assets for the client, ensuring rapid turnaround and strict adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Produce diverse deliverables based on briefs and direction from the Team Lead, including website updates, internal collateral documents, marketing materials, and digital assets.
  • Assist in formatting and refining high-level presentations and insight decks using Microsoft PowerPoint, turning raw content into clean, professional slides.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure all files are organized, named correctly, and ready for delivery.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with the Team Lead to implement feedback and revisions quickly and accurately.
  • Manage your own daily task list within our project management tools to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the broader team with ad-hoc design requests as needed.

The Ideal Skill Set

  • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Experience working with large retail clients or handling high-volume asset production.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is non-negotiable. You must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for creating templates, decks, and documents.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with Figma or Sketch for web-based assets is a plus.
  • Knowledge of print production processes.

Soft Skills & Attributes

  • Attention to Detail: You take pride in delivering error-free work.
  • Design Fluency: Strong graphical design layout skills, with a keen eye for composition and detail.
  • Interpersonal: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with your Team Lead and peers.
  • Resilience: Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to different design styles.
