Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely replenishment of materials and supplies. This role supports operational efficiency by performing inventory audits, analyzing inventory data, and collaborating with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
What You Get To Do:
- Works with facilities to manager inventory
- Regularly inspects inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses
- Implements effective inventory control methods and procedures to enhance efficiency
- Works closely with production and logistics teams to forecast future inventory needs
- Generate inventory reports & provide insights on stock levels, usage trends, & shortages.
- Be forklift certified to assist the operation.
- Regularly performs shipping and receiving tasks using the ERP system.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze data and identify inventory trends or discrepancies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as reaching, lifting, and carrying inventory items.
- Ability to work in a warehouse, stockroom, or operational environment as needed.
