About this Internal Sales Proposal Engineer Aftermarket role at Zeeco
Roles and Responsabilities
- Evaluate and understand customer enquiries, interpreting detailed design specifications, codes and practices.
- Ability to prepare and submit timely technical and commercial proposals to end user customers, EPC’s, in-country Zeeco representatives and trading houses.
- Be able to read AutoCAD technical drawings, electrical schematics drawings and P&ID’s.
- Be prepared to train on the workshop learning how to assemble and strip flare & burner pilots to equipe them with the knowledge and understanding required to support both internal and external customer questions.
- As part of the successful candidates training, they should be prepared travel and support the Zeeco Turnaround Team where they will be expected to be hands-on supporting on-site refurbishment contracts which will significant help expand their product knowledge familiarising them with our and our competitor’s assemblies and components.
- Sets product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules established by management.
- Establish and fix contractual documentation deliverables that meet both Zeeco and client expectations.
- Maintain prompt and continuous support to the customer throughout the bid tendering phase on all technical and commercial clarifications.
- Support final technical / commercial negotiations with the customer with a firm focus on achieving the best possible outcome for Zeeco both technically and commercially.
- Ability to support the preparation of detailed SPIR lists for Zeeco’s capital installed equipment base.
- Prepare clear and concise handovers to our Aftermarket execution team ensuring that we have covered and clearly set our defined scope of supply, any governing customer specifications and proposal budget sheets.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned that are appropriate based on skills and experience providing and maintaining a high level of support to all their colleagues.
- To actively work towards maintaining and improving the Zeeco Quality system whilst adhering to the requirements of the ISO9001: 2015.

Success criteria
Requirements
- Educational Background: engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, chemical, or a related field).
- Industry Experience: 5+ years in sales/proposals or a relevant industry, with experience in fired combustion equipment or process knowledge being advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, keyboard and written communication abilities.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to Detail: Resourceful, well-organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Decision Making: Confident, assertive, and capable of making decisions autonomously.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to Travel: Open to international travel as required
- Language: fluent in Italian and written and spoken English
RAL: 45-60K depending on working experience
