Garda is seeking a hands-on IT generalist based in our Singapore office. This role is the primary IT point of contact for employees in Singapore and serves as a hands-on member of the global infrastructure team, working alongside infrastructure, DevOps, and security engineers on a daily basis.
Position Responsibilities
End-User & Office Technology Support (Primary Focus)
- Primary IT contact for the Singapore office across Windows, macOS, mobile, and AV/VC systems
- Troubleshoot end-user issues spanning M365, networking, printing, and high-performance hardware
- White-glove support for traders and portfolio managers, including Bloomberg and other financial applications
- Manage hardware inventory, procurement, imaging, and lifecycle
- Triage tickets, manage SLA adherence, and coordinate escalations to the global team
Security Operations Support (Off-Hours Coverage)
- Triage and respond to MDR escalations and security alerts during off-hours
- Assist with vulnerability remediation, patch deployment, and configuration hardening
- Support routine security hygiene: MFA enrollment, certificate management, access reviews
Infrastructure & DevOps Support
- Assist with Windows/Linux server troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance
- Support endpoint management (Intune), identity, networking, and connectivity health
- Help triage infrastructure and DevOps alerts; assist with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- 3+ years in IT support, desktop engineering, or IT operations; financial services preferred
- Strong troubleshooting across Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, M365, and networking
- Familiarity with Active Directory, basic Linux, and core security concepts
- Self-directed, calm under pressure, strong communicator
- Microsoft security stack experience: Entra ID, Intune, Sentinel, Defender, SCCM
- Exposure to EDR/MDR (Defender, Arctic Wolf), SASE (Netskope), MFA (Duo), or SIEM tools
