Industrial Material Handling Technician
Location: Cocoa Beach, FL

Starting Pay: From $22.00/hour (Higher starting pay available based on experience.)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Industrial Material Handling Technician to support daily operations in both the production shop and outdoor yard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and is comfortable operating heavy equipment, moving structural steel, and assisting with shipping and production activities.
The right candidate will be flexible, safety-conscious, and willing to assist wherever needed to help keep operations running efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
Safely move, organize, and stage materials throughout the facility and yard
Operate overhead cranes to transport structural steel and other heavy materials
Use forklifts, telehandlers, and Pettibone equipment for material movement
Assist with loading and unloading trailers
Position and organize inventory for production and shipping
Prepare materials by skidding and staging items for outgoing shipments
Operate production equipment and machinery as assigned
Clean and prepare parts for manufacturing or fabrication processes
Support inventory control by tracking materials and supplies
Follow established safety procedures while operating equipment
Work with multiple departments to maintain efficient workflow
Maintain reliable attendance and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
Experience operating overhead cranes
Experience using telehandlers or Pettibone equipment
Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred
Experience working with structural steel is preferred
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other industrial equipment
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Self-motivated while also working effectively with a team
Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
Willingness to learn new equipment and take on a variety of responsibilities
