As the Head of Telesales - Goods, you will lead and manage a team of telesales representatives to achieve revenue targets and business objectives across categories. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the telesales function, from recruitment and training to performance management and sales strategy development. You will be responsible for leading the Telesales function in achieving board-approved revenue and client acquisition targets by effectively managing Team Leads, maintaining approved headcount (HC), and driving performance across key operational metrics, including call volume, order count, and Average Revenue Per Account (ARPA).

In this role, you will :

  • Hire Telesales teams and allocate resources according to category targets.
  • Develop and execute overall commercial strategy with regard to Telesales.
  • Set sales targets for the Telesales teams.
  • Monitor the sales performance. Analyse and report the performance of KPIs.
  • Manage client complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Set up educational drives for clients (agencies & individuals).
  • Monitor sales targets and report anomalies.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders in improving overall operations.
  • Suggest business requirements for CRM tech development and oversee the development process.
  • Suggest new products or alterations to existing products.
  • Monitor region-wise Profit/Loss and suggest improvements.
  • Lead and manage several teams across different verticals - Property, Automotive, Goods and Jobs.
  • Set and achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Recruit, train and develop telesales representatives.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to telesales representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with sales regulations and best practices.
  • For Head of TeleSales, please add the primary KPI will be achieving revenue and client count against given board targets, managing team leads, maintaining HC and maximising calls, order count and ARPA.
  • Deliver revenue and client acquisition targets in line with board-approved objectives. 
  • Lead and manage Team Leads, maintain approved headcount (HC), and drive improvements in call volume, order count, and Average Revenue Per Account (ARPA).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Call Centres, Telesales or Field Sales.
  • 2-3 years of experience in people management roles.
  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record within a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the property, autos, jobs, and goods markets in Egypt.
  • Deep understanding of telesales strategies and processes, including scripting, objection handling, and sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of key telesales performance metrics and how to optimise them.
  • Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and telesales tools.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • High-level interpersonal skills to facilitate communication in person, by email, and by telephone with professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership & ability to manage large teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Approachability and friendly personality.
