About this Head of BI Analytics - Shenzhen role at CASETiFY
Purpose of Position
- The Head of BI Analytics will be responsible for leading CASETiFY’s business intelligence and analytics capability, with a strong focus on data visualization, KPI setup, metadata establishment, and insight analysis across the organization. The incumbent will work closely with business, product, engineering, operations, finance, and leadership teams to ensure data is translated into clear, trusted, and actionable insights that support decision-making and performance management.
- The incumbent is expected to bring strong hands-on experience in BI analytics, dashboarding, KPI framework design, metadata and metric governance, and insight generation. This role will help establish a scalable and trusted analytics foundation, improve reporting consistency, and drive stronger business understanding in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Description
- Define and lead the BI analytics strategy, roadmap, priorities, and operating model in alignment with CASETiFY’s business goals and data maturity objectives,
- Build and enhance business intelligence capabilities across the organization with strong focus on data visualization, management reporting, KPI setup, metadata standards, and insight analysis,
- Partner with business stakeholders to define, standardize, and govern KPIs, metric logic, business definitions, and reporting requirements across commercial, customer, supply chain, finance, and operational domains,
- Establish and maintain a strong metadata foundation including metric definitions, business glossaries, reporting logic, semantic consistency, ownership, and documentation standards,
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of dashboards, scorecards, executive reports, and self-service reporting solutions that provide timely and actionable insights,
- Ensure data visualization and reporting outputs are clear, intuitive, accurate, and aligned with business priorities and decision-making needs,
- Translate business questions and operational challenges into analytical frameworks, insight narratives, and practical recommendations that support performance improvement,
- Work closely with Data Engineering and platform teams to ensure underlying data structures, datasets, and semantic layers support high-quality and scalable BI analytics delivery,
- Drive reporting consistency and single source of truth practices by aligning metric definitions, metadata, and dashboard logic across teams and functions,
- Support executive and management reporting needs through structured insight analysis, trend interpretation, variance analysis, and business performance review materials,
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing BI analytics team, fostering strong business understanding, analytical rigor, visualization quality, and continuous improvement,
- Contribute to CASETiFY’s data-driven culture by improving the quality, consistency, and business relevance of analytics across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in BI analytics, dashboarding, data visualization, KPI framework design, and management reporting,
- Proven track record in building and leading BI analytics capabilities that support decision-making, performance management, and business insight generation,
- Strong experience in defining and governing KPIs, metric hierarchies, business definitions, metadata standards, and reporting logic across multiple business functions,
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices, dashboard usability, analytical storytelling, and executive reporting needs,
- Experience in translating business questions into structured analysis, insights, and recommendations with clear business relevance,
- Good understanding of semantic consistency, metadata establishment, metric governance, and single source of truth practices in BI environments,
- Experience working closely with Data Engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to ensure scalable and reliable BI delivery,
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with senior business leaders, operations teams, finance, product, and technology teams,
- Experience in leading BI teams and promoting strong standards in analytical thinking, visualization quality, documentation, and reporting discipline,
- Known for promoting data-driven decision-making, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement,
- At least 8-10 years of relevant working experience in BI, analytics, reporting, or related data roles, with leadership experience preferred,
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, omnichannel, supply chain, finance, or other fast-paced consumer business environments is highly preferred,
- Experience with enterprise BI platforms, dashboard tools, and modern analytics environments is preferred,
- Experience in multicultural and fast-paced environments is preferred,
- Happy to work in a buzzing multicultural environment,
- Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin and English.
