About this Head Coach- Girls Varsity Volleyball role at St. Luke's School
St. Luke’s School seeks a dynamic, dedicated, and inspiring Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach to lead our tennis program. The Head Coach will serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes, guiding them to grow not only in their athletic abilities but also in character, resilience, and leadership. This individual will support the educational mission of the school while cultivating a program that promotes integrity, excellence, and teamwork.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Strong communicator with students, parents, alumni, and administration
- Desire and ability to continue to grow and cultivate the program as one of the region’s best
- Ability to be the program director, while leading the growth and development of the program from grades 5-12
- Passion for the sport of volleyball and for developing, leading, mentoring, and inspiring student-athletes
- Passion for working with and inspiring female student-athletes
- Ability to work with student-athletes who wish to play volleyball in college
- Ability to cultivate relationships with and represent our school and program with college coaches
- Ability and desire to represent the school and volleyball program to prospective student-athletes
- Strong knowledge and experience within the sport of volleyball
- Taking the lead in practice planning, game planning, and communicating these plans with student-athletes and coaches
- Help to manage equipment inventory for the team in conjunction with athletic administration
- Work with our athletic training staff to ensure the health and safety of all student-athletes at all times
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Athletic Director
- Represent the school and program at all league and conference meetings
- Oversee the development of the middle school program
