The Role:
You'll own retention and existing-subscriber revenue end-to-end. This means understanding deeply why users stay, why they churn, and what drives lifetime value, and turning that into a multi-year retention strategy plus high-impact, cross-functional execution. You'll be accountable for core customer and revenue metrics across our subscriber base.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the metrics that define retention health: churn, reactivation, net revenue retention, LTV, and revenue per cohort/segment
- Diagnose churn drivers across cohorts, plans, and usage, and turn them into interventions
- Lay out a long-term strategy for retaining and growing existing-subscriber revenue
- Own the retention components of the business P&L
- Partner with Product and Growth to ship retention experiments across onboarding, lifecycle, pricing, and win-back, and measure their impact
- Ideate lifecycle and win-back campaigns with Marketing
- Work across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, and Data, taking end-to-end accountability for retention outcomes
- Build the processes to track progress and keep momentum strong
- Own retention performance reporting and present to leadership
What We're Looking For:
- 5 to 7 years of experience, ideally a mix of top-tier management consulting followed by a growth, retention, or subscription role at a product or consumer-tech company
- Strong ownership, able to run a function, not just projects
- Growth-oriented mindset and sharp execution
- Excellent communicator who works seamlessly across functions and with leadership
