DNI is seeking a General Clerk I to provide clerical and administrative support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Corporate Business and Analysis Group and related organizations under an administrative services contract. This entry-level role focuses on document handling, filing, records maintenance, mail distribution, and routine office support performed in accordance with established procedures and standard operating guidelines. The position is primarily based at the Government site in China Lake, California, and requires an active Secret clearance at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain alphabetical filing systems, master files, logbooks, and administrative records in accordance with established procedures and workflows.
• Receive, sort, route, copy, scan, file, and shred documents and data accurately and efficiently.
• Perform simple posting to accounts and calculate or post departmental charges by following detailed instructions.
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail according to established office procedures.
• Operate standard office equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines, multi-line phone systems, voicemail systems, mailing machines, and basic computer programs.
• Respond to routine email inquiries, maintain telephone contact with other offices, and prepare procedural administrative documents.
• Support secure-space opening and closing procedures, complete required security checks, and escort U.S. visitors on-site when needed.
• Handle information at the appropriate classification level and follow CUI, OPSEC, and records management requirements.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required at the time of hire and must be maintained throughout contract performance.
• Ability to follow established procedures accurately and consistently with strong attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows, standard office suite applications, and common office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in maintaining files, records, and logs.
• Familiarity with DoD or Government administrative environments, CUI handling requirements, OPSEC principles, and records management procedures is a plus.
