Garcia Plumbing & Gas is looking for a standout plumber to join our growing Wellington team.
We are skilled plumbers and gasfitters who pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service for our clients. Our work spans a wide range of projects, meaning you'll gain experience across residential and commercial maintenance, commercial fit-outs, residential renovations and new builds.

The Role
This role involves working across a variety of residential and commercial plumbing maintenance projects throughout Wellington.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
- Diagnosing plumbing issues and identifying effective solutions
- Working on maintenance jobs, renovations, commercial fit-outs and new builds
- Ensuring work meets industry standards and safety requirements
- Maintaining accurate job documentation and communicating with clients and the team
About You
- We’re looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service
- Communicates clearly and professionally with customers, the office team and other trades
- Keeps the team informed of job progress and completion
- Works well independently while also contributing positively to the wider team

- Is open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve
- Maintains a professional and presentable approach when dealing with customers
- Brings a positive attitude and good sense of humour to the team
Requirements
- Current NZ plumbing licence
- Gasfitting and/or drainlaying a bonus (not essential)
- Current NZ driver’s licence
