Requirements
The Role
The Finance Manager is a senior member of the finance function, working in close day-to-day partnership with the CFO across a multi-country professional services group. The company operates from its headquarters in Switzerland with subsidiaries in Europe and North America.
Finance is run centrally - there are no dedicated finance resources embedded in the subsidiaries. This role therefore carries end-to-end responsibility for financial reporting, planning for the entire group. A network of outsourced accounting providers handles day-to-day bookkeeping and statutory tax filings in each country; the Finance Manager sets their standards, reviews their outputs, and ensures the group’s financial position is always accurately reflected in management information.
The Finance Manager will directly manage a team of 3–5 people, providing leadership, development, and day-to-day direction to in-house finance staff. We are a technology-forward organisation and this person is expected to actively use AI tools - including Claude and OpenAI - to improve the speed, quality, and scalability of finance processes.
