Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller / Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for our growing real estate business in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate finance, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance of real estate projects
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies
- Handle audits, tax filings, and financial risk management
- Collaborate with senior management for strategic financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Optimize financial processes and cost efficiencies
- Monitor the financial performance of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects.
- Prepare project feasibility studies, financial models, investment analyses, and project cash flow forecasts.
- Track project costs, construction expenditures, development budgets, and project profitability.
- Support land acquisitions, project evaluations, and investment decision-making processes.
- Work closely with project development, construction, sales, and executive management teams.
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Support fundraising activities, project financing, and treasury management where required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management.
- Mandatory experience within a Real Estate Development company.
- Experience managing finances for residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.
- Strong understanding of project accounting, development budgets, project cash flow management, and feasibility analysis.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, Zoho, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Experience working with project financing, banking relationships, and treasury management is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Russian or Uzbek language skills will be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience working in Uzbekistan, Central Asia, or emerging markets is highly preferred.
