Finance & Accounting Advisory – Senior Manager
Senior Managers will work closely with ‘C-level’ management of Fortune 500, mid-cap, and start-up companies. CFGI Senior Managers lead project teams and interact with clients and their Big 4 auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, developing and managing client relationships, and business development.

What you might expect:
- Interact with clients’ executive team and auditors, serving as a subject matter expert, leading clients through complex accounting issues and driving conclusions.
- Lead client engagement and own client delivery on operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. – IPO’s, acquisitions and divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises).
- Drive client deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (i.e. – 10K’s, 10Q’s, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination).
- Serve as a subject matter expert on projects related to new ASC accounting standards.
- Lead process improvement projects and implementation of changes.
- Mentor managers and consultants, acting as a moral and ethical model, fostering engagement team professional growth, and providing constructive and actionable feedback.
- Lead firm initiatives and identify areas for improvements.
- Play an active role in the firm’s recruiting efforts, client relationship building and business development efforts.
What you must have:
- 8–12 years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, consulting, and/or corporate accounting/finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
What sets you apart:
- Experience leading accounting, audit, or advisory engagements, including oversight of project execution, staffing, budgets, and client deliverables.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with client executives, including Controllers, CAOs, CFOs, and other key stakeholders.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members while fostering collaboration and accountability across engagement teams.
- Experience applying accounting and financial reporting expertise to solve complex business, transaction, and accounting challenges.
- Experience contributing to business development initiatives, proposal efforts, practice development, training programs, or knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Nice to have:
- CPA license.
- Experience with SEC reporting and filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, and registration statements, or public-company financial reporting environments.
- Experience preparing technical accounting memoranda and advising on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, stock-based compensation, consolidations, or IPO readiness.
- Experience supporting public company transactions, including IPOs, carve-outs, debt offerings, acquisitions, or divestitures.
