We are looking for an experienced Finacle Application Support Lead with strong expertise in Finacle Core Banking application support, production management, and banking technology delivery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting Finacle environments, managing incidents, coordinating with business and technical teams, and driving application stability across core banking platforms.

The role requires a strong combination of technical Finacle knowledge, production support capability, stakeholder management skills, and project delivery experience. The candidate should have prior experience managing banking technology initiatives and working closely with business users, vendors, and internal technology teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application support and production ownership for Finacle Core Banking platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with business users, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth application operations.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL best practices.
• Support Finacle application configurations, enhancements, upgrades, and production releases.
• Analyze business requirements and coordinate with development teams for fixes and enhancements.
• Support integration-related issues between Finacle and downstream/upstream banking applications.
• Prepare application support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational reports.
• Track application performance, recurring issues, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in release planning, testing coordination, deployment activities, and post-production validation.
• Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular status updates on incidents, projects, and operational activities.
• Coordinate project activities including planning, tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking application.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Finacle application support / production support environments.
• Strong understanding of core banking processes and application workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting Finacle-related incidents and production issues.
• Experience working with banking applications, integrations, and enterprise systems.
• Understanding of Finacle modules such as:

  • CASA
  • Loans
  • Deposits
  • Payments
  • Customer Management
  • Limits and Collaterals

Project Management Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing banking technology projects or delivery initiatives.
• Experience in project planning, execution, tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate across business teams, technical teams, and vendors.

Preferred Technical Exposure:

• Experience with Finacle customization and configuration.
• Knowledge of Finacle integrations, APIs, and interfaces.
• Exposure to application monitoring tools and production support processes.
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL troubleshooting.
• Exposure to release management and deployment activities.

• Ability to work under pressure in critical banking production environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on application stability and service excellence.
